  We will here take the opportunity to illustrate further who we are and our purpose, by putting before our readers some comments received, questions asked of us, and answers given.

A problem for some of our readers is that Yeshua/Jesus is seen and sometimes presented, as another God and worshipped as such. An act forbidden within Scripture! We state that we do not see Him as a Separate Person - He isn't a son as I am a son! You may wish to read "Concerning Jesus" and, “The Rock, the Angel and the Arm,” regarding this matter.

A detailed 'Summation of Belief' follows the following Q's A's & Comments. Also, if you have not done so, please look through the "Before You Read" page.

Is it 'Religion' to Obey God? I had the privilege of speaking to a Christian group recently. Here is my response to a comment made afterwards.

I trust you will not be offended by this ‘opportunistic’ note, but following my recent Wednesday presentation, some may have difficulty relating to the matter of the Law being part of - Our Collective Heritage as possible Israelites. [“Law”- Incidentally, better to be understood as – Teaching or Instruction.}

As we can read - We have been set free from [Death] - the Curse of the Law. The “Law” - God’s value system and Blueprint for Living, being as it is our Guide for living, isn't itself the curse. In fact, we have to learn to apply this on a higher level than that practised by the Israelites of old, without, being side-tracked by religion, whether Christian or Jewish, on the way!

The Law [or Torah] can be a tricky matter for us To comprehend, because the fact is both - That we do, and yet don’t need to keep what was given! What Paul said in 2 Tim. 3: 14-17, applies whether we are natural born Jews, of the Tribes, or those Grafted-in.
… you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.

For a Redeemed people, keeping a bunch of regulations is Not what it is all about, whereas collectively walking in Covenant relationship with God, Is! The “Beatitudes” and the “Sermon on the Mount” for example, reveal more of the nature of this - As in “Hungering and thirsting for Righteousness!” [The outworking of His ways and plan.] And on this ‘journey’ – [The Way] The Holy Spirit – the Enabler, is desirous to take us! In fact, as you see yourself as being of [or grafted into,] the Called-out ones of Israel, you will increasingly find it appropriate and a joy, to keep, learn from and indeed Celebrate His feasts, without regarding doing so as legalistic or unnecessary. For God's Feasts depict His Way of Salvation for you, me, Israel - And the World.

Should you be troubled by any notion of “Works to obtain salvation,” please note Ephesians 2: 8-10. It is clear that we are not saved BY works; however, we are saved to Do – “Good Works.” In fact, Spirit motivated and enabled obedience, should be the Result of our salvation. Yeshua pointed out in Matthew 22: 36-40, that IF we are loving God with all our heart, soul and strength, plus our neighbour as ourselves, then we will be doing what is required of us, effectively keeping the Commandments. {Taking up “His Yoke!” – Matthew 11: 29-30}

We read together, another part of Ephesians 2. Now this was not specifically talking about the Law, but rather about their/our, - Not being foreigners as regards to Covenant matters; but in Reality – Becoming, Covenant Keeping Israelites. And Walking in Covenant will prompt loving obedience, and further relationship!

Nevertheless, to ‘change tack’ slightly, Acts 15, placed a limit as to what should be imposed on Gentile believers. And Paul within “Galatians” makes it very plain that it was Not required, that Gentiles be circumcised etc. – Thus there are some definite don’t do’s. What was being dealt with at these times was the unwarranted urge of fledgling Jewish believers to make Gentiles behave the same as them; whereas the apostles, reminded everybody what and in Whom, they must trust/rely on.

It boils down to such as this:
… what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful humanity to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in human flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:3-4.

We Do have Freedom in Messiah; but we need to understand its nature. You can download - "Our Freedom ..." - Here!

Please remind yourself of Hebrews 8 - God’s promised intent for His people! What this means in practical terms and observances, you may wish to pray about. If we can assist in any way, please let us know.

The 1st question discussed is about God's Feasts. A slightly expanded answer now appears near the end of the article:
"The One New Man."
